The ShiftVIEW R/S (Range Switch) will be introduced at some point in 2005. It is still in the prototype stage for lack of real free time on my part. The newest member of the ShiftVIEW family will be a drop-in replacement for the range switch decoder in the 1997-2003 Grand Prix instrument cluster. No cosmetic alterations to the vehicle will be required. Both the range switch (shifter position) and the transmission state will be displayed on the PRND321 LEDs on the dashboard in different colors as shown below:
