ShiftVIEW - II INSTALL:
Installation of the ShiftVIEW-II is similar to the first version, with a few additions.  (The SV-II wiring table is found HERE.)

First, you will need to decide on a location for the LED display and decoder box. The decoder will fit nicely behind your DIC or down in the center console:
You will first want to disconnect your negative battery terminal so as not to injure yourself or the electronics in the car. Then, you will need to get behind your instrument cluster and disconnect it. Set it aside in a safe location so that it is not damaged. 5 of the 8 wires will tap into the harnesses that plug into your instrument cluster. 4 of them to the black connector and 1 to the white. Splice the SV-II wires into the factory wiring and insulate them from shorting out:
Once you have your wiring situated behind the IC, you will need to run 3 wires from under the hood, back to the SV-II decoder. You will need to tap into the wiring between the PCM and the transmission. Splicing the wiring at the PCM end allows you to hide the job, however locating the PCM wiring and separating it can be more difficult than tapping the wiring on the transmission side. Here is the transmission connector that easier taps can be performed upon: (4T60-E shown)

When all of your wiring is connected, car put back together and display mounted for easy viewing, you may reconnect your battery and start her up!
