| The ShiftVIEW-II: A significant upgrade from the original, now sporting a better looking and smaller LED display with more color options: red, orange, yellow, blue and green. No longer a fabrication of old TTL logic chips and gates, the ShiftVIEW-II utilizes a 4MHz, 8-bit RISC micro controller running program code at approximately 2MHz. The software is also written to detect certain conditions that could exist with the drive train such as "limp home mode" and an overheat condition detected by the PCM, which will command the transmission differently in an attempt to cool down the situation. I am able to alert the driver with this information by flashing an "H" or an "E" character on the display. | ||
