When your fog lamp switch bulbs burn out, it is not that much more difficult to replace the bulbs with LEDs and resistors. You will need to solder one 690-Ohm resistor in series with each LED, and then solder the leads to the pins in the switch. Pin “1” is the (+) side of the illumination LED. The (-) side of BOTH LEDs will be soldered to pin “2”. Pin “3” is the (+) side of the indicator LED. This modification also satisfies the condition where the indicator lamp is out of synch with the fog lamps if you have done the fog lamps + high beams modification.
