You will need to run 3 wires from the PCM harness through the firewall to the circuit. 2 wires are an input/output for shift solenoid A, and the last wire is a tap for shift solenoid B. The switch will enable/disable the 2nd gear start feature that was discontinued by Pontiac for the 1997 and up model years. This mod is extremely handy for those of you who live in snowy/icy climates... (NOT recommended for track or dyno use!) Be sure to fuse protect the +12 power to the circuit.
